If your food is wrong, medicine is if no use
If your food is right, medicine is of no need

We are fooled by what we believe is food.

For the past hundred years or so, people have been misguided by what food is. People have been misguided by what actually “dis-ease” or sickness is. Moreover, people have been misguided by how to actually heal. We hope to intellectually, emotionally and spiritually inspire you about food, the meals and the food experience and the effects of a healthy diet. It is cause and effect in stead of fighting or repressing symptoms and then increasing the cause of side effects. Start inputting the right "fuel" and start feeling the affect.

Truth is simple, if it is not simple, it is not truth

Our bodies are designed to be self healing. Healing however is something that is done when sleeping and fasting. Due to our eating schedule and habits we never allow our bodies to heal. We can take in a lot of sub-optimal or plain unhealthy foods and toxins without noticing for many year. Our consciousness expands with good health. We feel more in calm, connected and balanced. Lack of this is hard to be aware of as it is often seen as “your character” and just the way you are or accepted yourself to be. This ignorance can lead to negative convictions about yourself.

Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food

Our bodies need to eat fruit, vegetables, nuts, grains and seeds and other plant based nutrients. The World Health Organisation explains on its websites the following:
“A healthy diet helps to protect against malnutrition in all its forms, as well as noncommunicable diseases (NCDs), including such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke and cancer.”

Practical advice on maintaining a healthy diet according to the The World Health Organisation:

  • Eating at least 400 g, or five portions, of fruit and vegetables per day reduces the risk of NCDs (2) and helps to ensure an adequate daily intake of dietary fibre.

  • Fruit and vegetable intake can be improved by:

  • always including vegetables in meals;

  • eating fresh fruit and raw vegetables as snacks;

  • eating fresh fruit and vegetables that are in season; and

  • eating a variety of fruit and vegetables.

You are either loving yourself or destroying yourself

Only you can change your life by changing your lifestyle, your thinking and we can offer you the inspiration to do so.

Come as you are, leave as a friend

At our retreats we heal mind and body. We prepare and serve healing foods. An interactive co-creating culinary experience for the soul and to help explain what food is, what it does and how it can heal you. But foremost it is fun and you are involved in all aspects of it.
Cooking is all about people. Food is maybe the only universal thing that really has the power to bring everyone together. No matter what culture, everywhere around the world, people get together to eat.

Cook, eat, laugh, share, enjoy, talk and come together at our table for it is our love we share.
